SAVANNAH, Georgia – On June 2, 2025, school administrators, counselors and teachers from around the Southeast United States got the opportunity to hear information and advice from two distinguished researchers at the annual Southeast Conference on School Climate, held this year in Savannah.
Dr. Juliann Brayer and Dr. Summer Pannell presented “From Conflict to Connection: A Restorative Framework for Schools” at the conference, which is focused on helping K-12 school leaders improve school culture, climate and safety.

Dr. Juliann Brayer is an Associate Professor and Co-Director of the National Youth Advocacy and Resilience Research Center at Georgia Southern University. Dr. Summer Pannell is an Associate Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi and Executive Director of the National Institute for Restorative Discipline, a subsidiary of the National Leadership Development Consortium. Both professors are also partners with Clarity Consulting Group.
